OSHA safety programs for contractors and trade shops
We find what's missing and fix it: your written safety program, training records, and everything a GC's prequal asks for.
Remote anywhere in the U.S. · On site in Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC
Could you hand them all of this? Plenty of crews have the right gear and still get cited because the paperwork isn't there.

We go through all your safety paperwork and show you every gap. That's less than 5% of one serious citation.
Written for your trade and the work your guys actually do. Not a template off the internet with somebody else's name crossed out.
Got a program that's out of date or half done? We'll go through it, fix what's wrong and fill in what's missing.
Fall protection, HazCom, silica, trenching, lockout/tagout. Whatever your work calls for, written down and ready to hand over.
Toolbox talks and the training your crew is required to have, plus the sign-in sheets that prove it happened.
When a GC asks for your safety program, EMR or training records before you can bid, you'll have it ready.
Most of this we can do remotely, wherever you are. In Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC, we can come out to your job.
Federal OSHA's top three most-cited standards, with citation counts from the last two years.
Number one for 16 years straight. Roofing gets hit hardest, and plenty of crews with harnesses still get cited because nobody wrote down the training.
No written HazCom program, or no safety data sheets for the chemicals on your trucks. A citation even if nobody got hurt.
No written procedures for shutting off and locking out equipment before someone works on it.

About us
Hamzic Safety Group was founded by Damir Hamzic, a safety professional in heavy civil and rail construction. He has worked safety across more than $1 billion in active work zones, so he knows what inspectors look for and what GCs want to see from their subs.
Damir started HSG to help contractors get the kind of safety support the biggest companies have. Those companies have a whole safety department. Most shops have a busy owner and a binder nobody's had time to open. That's where we come in.
We work with contractors anywhere in the U.S. by phone and email, and come out to job sites in Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC.
A paperwork review starts at $749 and a full fix-up starts at $1,499. The final price depends on your trade, crew size and how much you already have. You get one flat price before any work starts, and if you hire us for the fix-up, the review cost comes off.
Most of the work we can do remotely, so it doesn't matter what state you're in. If you're in Northern Virginia, Maryland or DC, we can come out to the job too.
It does. A lot of states run their own plan, like VOSH in Virginia and MOSH in Maryland. Their rules and fines aren't all the same, so we set your program up for whoever covers your jobs.
The call is free. We'll tell you exactly what an inspector would write you up for, so you fix it before they find it. Call or email. If we're out on a job site, we'll call you back.
